This full-time program runs Monday to Friday each week for about 7-8 hours each day. Since the start time and end time of each day can vary (depending on the service project or team activity), every participant needs to be available during the hours of 8:30am to 5pm. Team Members may need to participate in the occasional evening or weekend activity for team initiatives or special events.
You say you are looking for youth 17-24 years old for this program. Can I apply if I’m 25 years old?Occasionally we may accept someone onto a team if she or he is 25 years old. If you are very keen, willing to work in a diverse team (with people who are younger), and can recognize the benefits of being involved in the program, then by all means can go ahead and apply for the program.
Can you tell me more about the living stipend for the full-time “Experience This!” program?Currently, in the “Experience This!” full-time program, youth participants receive a living stipend of between $800-$1000 per month. The stipend is provided to participants on a bi-weekly basis plus a transportation subsidy (Serve! contributes $50 to a monthly transportation pass while the participant pays for the remaining costs).
