Toronto Challenge

The Toronto Challenge is a fun 1km or 5km walk/run that the City of Toronto arranges to benefit organizations providing services for seniors.

Thank you to everyone who supported Serve! in this years Toronto Challenge walk-a-thon/run benefiting Serve!

With your help we were able to raise $8,400 to assist youth in our programs, surpassing our goal of $5,000.

(requires quicktime)

A March Break program for youth 13-16 years old. This program fosters community involvement, skills development and teamwork and is currently offered in Flemingdon Park/Thorncliffe Park.

We are looking for a few agency partners for weekly community projects for a team of 10 youth (17 to 24 years old) to meet community needs and to build youth civic engagement and skills development. Does your organization/agency have a project that can run once a week from end of January to May 2010? We are mainly looking for projects for Monday or Wednesday afternoons (or possibly a one-time service project on a Friday morning).
