Youth Outreach/Recruitment Underway for

Want to make a difference in your life, and in the lives of others?
“Experience This!” is Serve!’s full-time experiential learning program for youth 17 - 24 years old. Participants engage in an intensive six-month program that focuses on personal development, teamwork and community involvement. Working in a diverse team, participants gain valuable skills and experience that will enable them to achieve success in the future.
Over the course of six months, participants:
- work toward achieving their personal goals
- participate in a team of diverse individuals
- experience leadership roles in their community
Youth participants engage in structured and guided learning activities through community involvement. They also usually experience an adventure-based challenge and trip outside of the city.
Participants receive a living stipend during the program and receive support for working on future goals.
Interested in the next program? You must be:
- Willing and able to work in a team and with diverse populations
- Committed to personal development and improving yourself
- Eager to perform community service/development work to meet community needs
- Available on a full time basis (40 hours per week mainly weekdays) for a six month program from November 2010 to late April 2011.
