Want to help Serve! in its work engaging youth in the community? Want to sharpen your administrative or people skills? Serve! has a variety of volunteer opportunities available.

Ongoing volunteer positions at Serve!’s Toronto offices include:

Recruitment Coordinator/Assistant
May - August, 8 - 16+ hrs / week
Tasks include: outreach in the Toronto community for the purpose of recruiting team members for the Toronto summer and full-time programs.

Support Services Volunteer
Ongoing, 3-5 hrs / week
Tasks include: assisting with preparation of varied reports, proposals and applications.

Fundraising Assistant
Ongoing, 3-5 hrs / week
Tasks include: assisting current initiatives including special events, data entry, filing, funding proposals, and mail - outs.

Communications/Marketing Assistant
Ongoing, 3-5 hrs / week
Tasks include: creating and updating required print and electronic materials.

Resource and Development Assistant
Ongoing, 3-5 hrs / week
Tasks include: researching new development opportunities, implement internal and external scans and developing new service models.

Administrative Assistant
Ongoing, 3-5 hrs / week
Tasks include: fielding inquiries, distributing outreach packages about Serve Canada, organizing files and general administration duties.

Serve! is also looking for volunteers to help youth with:

  • Literacy / GED Tutoring

A full-time six month program for youth between 17 and 24 years of age. Youth undertake projects within the community, work on life and job skills, and receive a living stipend.
